Chris is working on his movie. However, since he just has a supporting role, and of course isn't directing it, maybe he's shot it already? Probably not, but maybe he doesn't plan to till the end of the summer.

Lol, Chris' new film planned to be dark (and independent), and he said once that castmates asked him for a role in his film, but he knows all of them have other plans for summer.
But who knows, that'd be fun to see Cory (or whoever) in his film, and I bet Ashley'd be there.
