Harry Kane was 'disappointed' by FIFA's decision to ban the OneLove armband 🗣
- GOAL News (@GoalNews) November 21, 2022

FIFA have been heavy handed about this. A yellow card just to have on the armband? Harsh. I'm sure the players' FAs (it's England, Wales, Germany, etc) pressured them not to wear it just to avoid everything. But... some things are bigger than a game.

George Weah never played in a World Cup. His son, Tim, just scored in one ❤️ pic.twitter.com/pNkHBeCHU0

I didn't know that Weah's son played for the USMT. He was eligible to play for four countries (Libya, Jamaica, France and the USA) he chose the latter because he spent his formative years there.

Iran is in an interesting position.
