Omg OP, I hope you're feeling much better now. It's strange, I've also got an unusually heavy period this week. I wonder if it's anxiety causing.

Alas, no. Mine is fibroids. I had a heavy enough period last month where I had to take a day off work. On Wednesday I just took a turn and I started bleeding profusely and passed out from the pain. Had to be put on a drip for dehydration and to slow down the bleeding. Did a scan and they are legion, it seems.

LOL, not the cocaine drip, but the drip of SWAG. But I can't really be investing in that direction because I bought a house (a ... fixer upper).
