There's a disgusting article from the NYT about Justin Gimelstob, a former tennis player and a current ATP board member. A sympathetic white washing of his crimes, of how he is a violent misogynist and a psycho who the tennis community should've dumped 20 years ago. (He beat up a guy in front of the victims family, punched him 50 times.)
Here's the thing I don't understand. This guy was a nobody, a mediocre player, mediocre commentator... so how come so many defend him?
