Swansea City's new coach: Bob Bradley
With this appointment, Bob Bradley becomes the 22nd national representative to coach in the EPL. He's also the first American manager for an EPL side

Bradley's press conference was pretty bullish. Sounding like an extra from The Sopranos, he spoke about being fired from the USMNT job and Klinsmann jockeying for it
All of his experiences (USMNT, coaching the Egyptian NT, then travails to Norway and France, he's finally in one of the big European Leagues. He seems to be pretty iron willed, and filled with self belief (compared himself to Klopp, Guardiola etc). Self praise is no recommendation, as we say in the Caribbean, but- good luck to him.
Word has it that Huv Jenkins (Swansea chairman, the one who was behind the hirings of Martinez, Rodgers, Monk and Guidolin) was impressed by Bradley's hunger to prove himself for the hire. Supposedly Paul Clement (assistant coach of Bayern Munich) and Ryan Giggs interviewed for the position, but Jenkins was sold on Bradley. It's nice seeing people achieving their dreams, so no snark from me re: Bob Bradley! At least, not today
