Not a popular opinion on the comm...jesscpJuly 6 2016, 18:05:25 UTC
...but I'm hoping and PRAYING for Wales to pull through and win tonight, because please, Portugal have done NOTHING of worth to deserve getting to the Euros final. Wales will struggle without peroxide Barbie, what a time to be missing a game :(
Portugal are SO lucky they even made it this far, I hope it goes back to the old format of going through to knockout stages for the next tournament.
Also I need opinions - I'm debating on the BvB away kit because surprisingly I quite like it... but I'm not sure if we will have much of a team left by the start of the season LOL :( I just feel like so many kits are so ugly for next season, but I don't mind ours. I got the home shirt for last season, so I think an away shirt this season is a good option?

I do want to go back to the sixteen teams format, yes.
Eh, I want Portugal to go through, because anymore deep throating re: Wales' success, the British media might as well just put their services/technique on porn hub for the hell of it, tbh.
Yeah, get an away shirt for BvB's next season, it looks pretty smart.

Just a couple of weeks ago, fits were being thrown about Bale daring to imply no one on England NT was gonna enough for Wales NT
To be fair, I found that comment pretty classless from Bale considering that he came through English academies, and would have rubbed shoulders with say, most of the English players. Most of the Welsh players came through the English system to the point where nine out of those players on the Welsh first team are English, and play in English PL teams so...
That was disingenuous. Considering Bale came through the English system himself from nine years old to Spurs, but w/e. He probably blocks all of that and thinks that he came through Real Madrid academy or summat.
Wth regards to the English media- yeah, ITV is pretty stupid re: England, but the rest of the media (sports radio, newspapers) were pretty much "We have Hodgson and he STILL doesn't know his best starting XI, so uhhh..."

Tbh Wales have had success because they've played like a TEAM, no shade there - England haven't and you can bring in the best coach in the world, the England players themselves are still too driven by club football. So I don't mind the media going nuts over Wales doing something for a change, England time and time again have choked, it's nice to see Wales going for it. Plus you KNOW we love an underdog here!
Also, I love a Ronaldo tantrum, I live for his tears and tantrums when he doesn't win or get his own way.
Yes, I think I will get the away shirt, the colouring is nice and dark and I'm not a bright colours person, so it looks pretty nice this season!
No shade against Wales. They are organised, every player knows his job, and they slot in. It helps that every player seems to have known Gary Speed coming through (Bale and Ramsey especially), and Coleman was Speed's friend and they are all doing it in HIS MEMORY, so his death isn't in VAIN.
Wales have been an alchemy of good recruitment, good players coming through academies, and a national coach who wants to prove something because his club career has been no great shakes. That's fine, that's cool.
It's been FIFTY EIGHT YEARS and there's no pressure, because they're glad to be here, 'k.
But I'm OVER the Wales narrative. I'm over the supposed 'hardscrabble', ragtag team of nobodies when they boast the most expensive player in the World (Bale), talented midfielders by any metric. (Ramsey and Allen) They've had the benefit of English players who've come through English academies, and Welsh players who have come through English academies, played (and are playing) for English teams
