Highlights From Yesterday
Uruguay vs. Venezuela
Venezuela walked away the winner, scoring one lone goal. The main talking points were: (1) Cavani has yet to score a goal at any Copa, and (2) Suarez stretched, put on his shin guards, and made a show of coming on as a sub, only to realize late in the second half that he wasn't listed as eligibile to play for the match. Did no one from his team bother to tell him?
Cavani misses an opportunity to equalize for his team.

Mexico vs. Jamaica
Mexico labored but walked away with a 2-0 win. The Mexicans remain unbeaten in 21 consecutive international matches. Osorio, their new coach, is doing amazing things with the Mexico NT.
Chicarito opens the scoring
With Jamaica and Uruguay eliminated with yesterday's losses, Mexico and Venezuela have to battle it out in their last group match for top seeding in Group C. The team that wins the group increases their chances of avoiding Argentina in the quarterfinals.
