Seems like the bad blood between his father and Bayern is more or less over. His wife is from there- he himself has family from there- they did get married in München, also after the World Cup didn't he basically go back to München with the Bayern boys? He only has 1 year left on his contract I think? :/
I can't imagine him saying things like "this decision is keeping my up at night" if he were to go to anywhere else.

I don't think Goetze would rock up at LFC for non CL football, tbh. Klopp might get us Europa by table form - because CL football via Europa is a big ask at the mo.
Mats played for Bayern's youth teams, his family/friends/wife's family etc. all live there.
i don't think Ancelotti has anything to do with this, i recently read some rumors Mats' father got fired from Bayern a couple years ago because he couldn't bring him back there but i don't know what truth there is to that. I think now he works in close relation to Bayern once again though.
Bayern's obsession with having the most amount of German nt members might not be one foreign managers are into- Götze was obviously bought as a shiny new toy for the club, and not because Guardiola wanted him there.
There have been more rumors about Götze back to Dortmund for some fucking reason- (probably because he hasn't really been the star in Bayern like he was back at Dortmund, etc.). His contract is about to run out too next summer i think?
