  This I honestly didn't see coming. Considering that he rejected England's overtures twice as a youngster and choose Ireland instead (three of his parents were Irish, played Gaelic football) even though he has a Brummie accent and did his time in English academies, I'm still shocked, NGL. Tim Sherwood, man. He told Bentaleb to follow his heart (he could have played for France, England and Algeria) and he chose Algeria- a choice no one saw coming. Now Grealish and England? Hah! Hah!

The game was fast paced, and it's interesting to see Everton's identity under Martinez. In a way, he's been growing in the job at Everton whilst Rodgers (over at LFC) has become smaller. Fine form for the Merseyside Derby this weekend!
