I've been sitting here trying to think of what to say, but everything's already been said a million times (about ultras and Chelsea specifically). It's exhausting. It's really fucking exhausting.

More from TG:

Paul Nolan, a British expatriate who filmed the clip on his phone, told the Guardian that he had arrived on the platform on Tuesday evening after finishing work.

“The doors were open and I could see and hear that a lot of chanting was going on,” he said. “It looked like it was quite aggressive so I just took out by phone to record it.”

He said that the train had been stopped for about three minutes when the man arrived on the platform and tried to get on.

“He was obviously completely shocked when they pushed him off. I don’t think he realised who they were. He then tried to get on again and got pushed off a second time.

“I was just completely appalled by it and so that’s why I tried to catch some of it on my phone, although I was a bit self-conscious as it was getting quite aggressive and I overhead one of the Chelsea fans say something about stabbing someone. I think he was referring to a Paris Saint-Germain supporter who was on the platform ( ... )

what's worse is that paris already has a horrible streak of racism that they're trying to deal with right now, English football fans don't need to be dragging more of this crap into their country. A lot of french racism is very under the surface (when i studied abroad, a bunch of my classmates went clubbing out on a night I was sick and the two black students in our group weren't allowed into the club after everyone else got in. Gross.)

idk just. the world is not a nice place most of the time, and football is supposed to be escape from that :(

*gives you a hug*

I think the people I feel the worst for are Chelsea fans who are minorities. Honestly, I think the most fitting punishment (or would give me the most joy in life) would be to make them say it to Pogba's face before banhammering them the hell out of ever attending a game.

Thanks, love. ❤️

I know too many fans who have given up on going to the Bridge because of racism :/ And right? I'd love to see them try to pull that shit with the King.
