Zlatan's new tattoos were part of a World Food Programme campaign

Feb 16, 2015 00:18

On Saturday, after scoring against Caen (in that dramatic match I'd like to forget it ever happened), Zlatan took off his shirt (got a yellow card for doing so, btw) and proudly showed his body fully covered with new tattoos. He had 50 names tattooed on his chest and back, names of some of the people suffering from hunger in the world today.

“When I took my shirt off against Caen, everybody asked what these new tattoos were. I had 15 removable tattoos on my body, they are the names of real people who are suffering from hunger in the world. [While] those tattoos have gone now, these people are still here ... I hope that you can see them through me.”
