Nice of you to include the Belgians! We played a bit messy but it was a good win in the end. Courtois who barely has to do any work in most of the NT games was angry after the match about having to make so many saves. He did have point because we can't let Bale run through to goal as much as we let Iceland do yesterday. On the other hand, it was a friendly, so I thought it was nice that there were chances for both sides.
That walk is a tradition, just like playing games!

Ugh. They've only released 42 pages of a 430 page report. I know that the FA and FIFA have a rocky relationship, this will only undermine it further. I wonder what it means for the premiership play and the world cup during the winter in 2022? We'll see.

I don't know how strong the position of the FA and the EPL is in that case. EPL can refuse to stop play during the World Cup but players have to be released by clubs for their national teams. Although it would be interesting to see what the big clubs would do without their internationals, probably not much.
I don't think that it would make a difference for most European fans if the have to watch the WC in February and the end of the competition and CL in June instead of the other way around.
The money will talk probably. The American market might decide what happens or probably the Asian market and the sponsors.

But we don't have stadiums and they are close together, Amsterdam and Brussels are closer together than London and Manchester.

A tournament in Qatar would suit the Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indian television markets that account for almost two-thirds of the world's population. The 300M people in the US market could be a lot less interesting in comparison. And the Latin American countries will watch the football either way as will the European countries and Africa.
