I've thought about it for about 5 minutes and can't come up with a reason. For either party. Does he have a long-throw they covet? A heading or aerial game I wasn't aware of?
And can he do it on a wet and rainy night at the Britannia?
As it happens, Stoke are trying for a more "grounded" approach to a game that once saw the ball in the air for 20 minutes of game-time. And last year, the Stoke fans started singing "We're passing the ball. We're passing the baaaaaall. Stoke City. We're passing the ball..." when it happened during a match. Which proves that it CAN.
But. Still.
And lol at Stoke not having a tag. And no, I'm not complaining. Let's keep it that way.
