I am really interested in seeing how the Germany/Netherlands match is going down next month because I think it will reveal a lot.
Also, I'm not going to necessarily discount Spain out but I think the style of play is starting to work against them b/c it seems like more NTs are getting more physical and Spain starts to come apart then.
not only that but Spain just barely inched by in WC last year. Germany was dominating consistently. i think spain lucked up that germany choked/had a bad game/something i can't even explain because i was expecting germany totally to win lol
I'm totally looking forward to that match. I really hope we'll keep our concentration for the full match and play an amazing game. I don't mind the 2-2 against Poland or the loss against Australia, but I think a win against Holland in November would make us real title contenders.
It can give us the mental edge. Off course the result doesn't have to mean anything (see Argentina friendly in 2010), but a good result would push the players in the right direction (towards the title, that is).

Mostly I'm thinking they'll have a defensive edge. They did really well in the Euro qualifiers and I think only Russia had less goals scored on them.

But yeah, Germany dominated. It's why I hate tournaments because statistically speaking, Germany was all over it.
Although the only one to not lose at all was New Zealand whut
