BAYERN AGREE FEE WITH CITY OVER JEROME BOATENG
During Wednesday, FC Bayern and Manchester City have come to an understanding regarding the transfer of Jerome Boateng to the Bavarians.
Boateng, who's currently with Manchester City in Los Angeles, will the next day (Thursday) travel to München to undergo a medical. He will then proceed with signing a contract with the club which goes through the 30th of June 2015. When it comes to the actual fee, both of the clubs would be in agreement over not making it public.
Bayern's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "It's been intense negotiations, and a long way to go, but this transfer will have a positive end. In Jerome Boateng we got our desired player for Central Defense."
And Sporting Director Christan Nerlinger commented: "Jerome Boateng is a young, german international - a perfect fit in the FC Bayern philosophy. And then he was also head coach Heynckes' desired target/player."

As BILD learned, Boateng's transfer fee should be in the region of "only" €13.5 million, and that thanks to the negotiationing skills of the club's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Christian Nerlinger. Because until recently, the English Premier League club had the defender valued at around €20 million.
The ex-HSV and Hertha Berlin player is hereby the eighth active German international to play for Bayern, behind Neuer, Badstuber, Lahm, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Müller and Gomez.
