not that i'm trying to argue the traditionalist pov, but what's with ballers popping out babies before wife'ing the lady? haha i can see how some of the women would be offended or hurt

Yeah, must be hard when the guys are always traveling too and only time off is holiday. They probably want to relax and not deal with family/friends/wedding hassle.

apparently birth-control is not very popular among wags...

I know would be on the pill if I was in their position. I don't want a guy marrying me because he feels obligated.

amen to that haha plus people might think i'm a gold digger or something, trying to trap him with a kid because we're not married

not to mention I don't need to give my grandma another mark against me. I already don't go to church, I need to make sure she doesn't know that I'm doing the premarital dirty.

well they've never met a stubborn New Englander with her "heeeeeell no I'm not getting knocked up" tendencies.

but then again, my grandma had a shot-gun wedding so she can't say much to us. thankfully my cousin already took the title of "the knocked-up one"

I think actually a lot of people are getting married after they already had kids these days. Obviously it's different for everyone, but marriage is no longer considered a prelude to starting a family, but rather a big celebration after a couple have been together for years/ had kids etc.
