TBH his tweeting style suits the dry, sarcastic tone he makes comments in and it´s just a shame that people always choose to jump down his throat for having a personality esp when they bring it on themselves and he just reacts in response to what gets tweeted at him

Exactly. Plus, he was answering honestly. People kept asking him why he was signing on for another year when he didn't get to play much. People don't like the truth I guess? Newcastle were fucking awful and ended up relegated and what did they do? Offer him more money to stay! They should be grateful he didn't take up that ridiculous contract, it's not like they could afford it!
It's hilarious though, that Freddy Shepherd of all people, is commenting on it. After the way he treated Sir Bobby Robson. What a fucking cheek!
