"FIFA said Sepp Blatter, who is accused of turning a blind eye to alleged bribes being paid to Caribbean voters, must submit an statement by Saturday before facing an ethics committee hearing in Zurich on Sunday."
The situation with the FIFA bribery scandal just keeps getting worse. AND the election should happen on Wednesday!
Blatter can't comment on the allegations against him but "the facts will speak for themselves."
As we are all aware, several other high ranking FIFA members are accused in the bribery scandal and will also be giving statements at the ethics panel.
"Blatter is the eighth current member of FIFA's 24-man ruling panel under investigation for alleged corruption. Two former members were suspended after a British newspaper investigation into vote-trading ahead of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup votes."
Check out the article and give us some thoughts on this craziness! Should the election go on as scheduled? What do you think the outcome will be? Do you want Sepp to be replaced? Who is a better choice? What about the Beckham Experiment dude?
