Alex Gerrard column: It's back to work and back to the gym
HAPPY New Year everyone! I’m excited about 2011 because my main resolution is to get back into my fitness. I’ll continue going out with my trainer Dina three times a week but on the days I don’t see her I’d like to get onto running with my mum.
Hopefully the weather will get better so that’ll get a bit easier. Now that Christmas is out of the way I need to get back into eating more healthily too. I’ve not fallen off the wagon too much but everyone over-indulges over Christmas! At least with the girls going back to school I won’t be eating on the run as much so I can get into more of a routine again. I’m the face of the Thigh Glider and Shake Weight and I’d like to look into doing some more fitness products.
I hope my spring/summer clothing range will be really successful this year. The line is much bigger and hits the shops at the end of this month, then I’ll start working on autumn/winter. Until I started working in the fashion industry I had no idea how far ahead you have to work!
As far as holidays go, I’m hoping we’ll go to our family holiday villa in Portugal over Easter for some sun. Maybe we’ll get to go to Ibiza again with Steven and our friends in the summer because that was so much fun last year. We don’t have any baby plans at the moment as the girls are in a really good place but never say never.
And I can’t wait to get into Dancing On Ice (top), I’ve be been missing something to watch since I’m A Celebrity… and The X Factor finished so I’ll be glued to that!
