Not sure if this allowed but I thought It was Awesome
Talk about a win-win situation.
Jackie Kasburg, a female high schooler in Ohio, had one heck of a night last Friday. After nailing three extra points for her school's team in her debut as a kicker, she was then named homecoming queen.

Kasburg - sporting pink cleats - booted the kicks in Chippewa High School's 55-27 loss, then won the traditional high school honor.
Kasburg, who stands approximately 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds, only decided to join the team very recently.
"I grew up with football, playing in the backyard with my brothers," Kasburg told The Associated Press, according to a report on Rivals.com. "I just thought (the team) isn't doing so good and I might as well try out to see if I can help.
"I had never kicked a football until three weeks ago. My dad took me out the Sunday before my first practice and had me doing stuff. I was terrible at first, but then my dad told me the steps to take. I love it now. I think the fact I've played soccer for 13 years helped me pick it up really quickly."
Kasburg beat out another kicker in a practice competition to win the job, the report said, and she already has the support of her team.
"She's such a great kid, and a real positive influence on the younger kids," Chippewa coach Kevin Wolf told The Daily Record in Wooster, Ohio. "She's a winner. She does all the drills, because I can't put her out there if she can't protect herself."
Even her teammates are impressed.
"I think the team has been very receptive to having her around," quarterback Shane Zacour told The Daily Record. "Any talent we can add is basically going to be accepted. She's came out here, worked hard and even gone through tackling drills. She keeps getting better as a kicker, too."
What's next for Kasburg? She hopes to move on to field goals soon, the report said. She has hit practice attempts from as far as 43 yards, and she eventually wants a shot at kicking off as well. Before she can do that, though, she has to work on her tackling.
"I've been working on my tackling with the freshman team," Kasburg told The Daily Record. "If I went up against (a formidable player) right now, I'd get drilled."

I know its not football/soccer related, but I thought that this story was awesome because she plays for the boys team. I remember someone on here saying how football/soccer should/or could be a mixed gendered sports. So thats why I posted it to see what people think of this. I'll delete if I have too.
