for all the shit he's made us (portuguese fans) endure. plus I used to think he was smug, and he did come off that way.

back in 2008 i knew of him but didn't really like him cos i thought he came across as really serious and uppity (i only saw him playing not off-pitch stuff) BUT NOW I KNOW HOW DORKY HE IS it's all good

Basti is lovely!! I remember when Tim Cahill got a controversial red card for a tackle on Basti in the Australia game at the world cup, he actually went up to Tim and tapped him on the shoulder and said that wasn't a red card.

omg I used to hate the German NT as well, but '10 changed it all for me. I'm completely in love with the NT AND the country! <3
