Okay... Villarreal is a team with a short numer of fans. Okay. But they deserve a post. Because there are two players, two very important players in the team that have played their last match in 'El Madrigal'

and

Javi Venta (¡¡SELECCIÓN!! XD) and Robert Pirés.

PIRES SET FOR SPANISH EXIT

ROBERT PIRES will hope to bid a fond farewell to Villarreal fans tomorrow by helping his side claim a derby win over Valencia.

The Yellow Submarine need a win against their local rivals to boost their hopes of claiming a spot in the Europa League.

Former Arsenal star Pires, 36, has been told he will not be offered a new contract when his current deal expires this summer, so tomorrow's game will be his final appearance for Villarreal.

He said: "I'm going away very happy to have played in the Spanish league before I retired and I only have words of gratitude to this club and the fans. Life goes on and that's football.

"It's the club's decision and I respect it totally. I knew that some day my adventure at Villarreal would have to end.

"Of my future, I still don't know anything. Right now I'm focused on helping Villarreal and then I will go on holiday and will have time to think about which team I could play for."

VENTA TO QUIT VILLARREAL
Javi Venta has revealed he will leave Villarreal in the summer after more than a decade at the club.

The veteran defender moved to Yellow Submarines in 1999 and spent the first season with their reserve side before being shipped out on loan for the next two season.
Venta has been at the heart of their back four for the past eight seasons and has established himself as a firm fans' favourite for his commitment to the Villarreal cause.
"Next year I won't continue here and I simply wanted to publicly thank the club," Venta said at a press conference on Wednesday. "I can only say that I leave very happy and proud to have played so many years in Villarreal."
"From now I wish them all the best and you could say that I am like one more fan. I have felt very loved as much by my team-mates as by the fans and this is the best memory I can take away with me.
"What happens is that a moment comes when things come to an end and that's it because I still have the desire to continue on playing.
"Villarreal have given me everything on a sporting level and I will always be grateful to them."
Venta, who helped Villarreal to runners-up spot in the Primera Division two years ago, admits he does not know where he will be playing next season.
The Yellow Submarine currently hold the last Europa League spot, two points above Getafe with four games left to play, and Venta hopes he can help them secure a European berth.
"Let's hope I can bid farewell by leaving Villarreal in a European competition," said the 34-year-old. "The only thorn in my side is not to have won any trophies, but I am convinced that sooner or later they have to come."
"I still don't have anything clear (about the future) but I just hope to find a team in which I am as happy as I have been in Villarreal."

I still can't belive it. I mean... They are PIRES and JAVI. Both legends in this Villarreal, in a European Villarreal, in a team that have grown in the last years with help from both of them.

Good luck, boys.

And... See you later. (Pellegrini, please, come back and solve this mess >.<)

Bobby gifs? Spam? Please. I need some Bobby-love right now. And I'm not the only one... T.T
