Marta is on TV Today Y'all!

Marta makes her 2010 national television debut Saturday evening at 6pm ET on Fox Soccer Channel when FC Gold Pride (2-1-0, six points) visits Sky Blue FC (2-1-0, six points). No team brings out her magic more.
Of the 11 goals Marta has scored in Women’s Professional Soccer, four have come against the New Jersey club, the most of any opponent. The four-time reigning FIFA World Player of the Year has already scored against Sky Blue FC this year, on April 17 in a 3-1 victory over the defending WPS Champion. The rest of her goals came last year as a member of the Los Angeles Sol who discontinued operations in the off-season.
In the ensuing dispersal draft, FC Gold Pride landed the rights to the Brazilian superstar who trekked north.
“Everything was very smooth and I adapted well,” said Marta. “I like the Bay Area. I feel like it's the right place for a soccer player to concentrate and focus on work.”
And there is a lot of work to be done. FC Gold Pride finished in the cellar of the WPS standings last year with just four wins to its credit. Four wins won’t suffice in 2010 for a team that has aspirations of a title. more
