The proposed strike by the Association of Spanish footballers (AFE) for this weekend has been called off. The AFE last week announced plans to go on strike across all four divisions of the Liga Nacional Futbol Profesional (LNFP) from 16th April to 19th April

Quite likely the big players being willing to put their weight behind the smaller ones forced the issue, whatever caused it though it's good that progress is being made in the right direction.
