i can't find it right now, but there's another promo where zooey deschanel is walking around the apartment, talking about how the whole experience of living with guys is helping her "meet new friends"....which is a comment addressed at a woman passed out on the sofa. so the punchline cuts both ways, it seems -- woman are damned if they do, damned if they don't. JUST LIKE IN THE REAL WORLD.
Yeah, this line irked me the most. A lot of men think all women are just silly and irrelevant. And... that's apparently okay with this author? That it's normal and "correct" for women to take on the role of the token weirdo or idiot? Umm.
Of all the poor calls in this article, misidentifying this show's punchline is a good indicator of how off-base the author is with everything else.
