I've read the entire article (I've got the print magazine), and I think your first paragraph completely misrepresents what she says. Where, exactly, does she say anything like "rape is no big deal"? She's been silent on the DSK trial (which both your links say, btw) because she's friends with his wife. I don't think the words "lighten up" appear once, and I think her point about how the pressure on women to have "natural" births and to breastfeed instead of formula-feed has gone way too far really is a fair one. Apparently, what a woman does with her body is her choice, unless she wants to have a kid, then she doesn't get to make choices for herself anymore.
