David DiGravio is a believer in the old saying, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog." At 5-6, he isn't the biggest guy on the hill, but his inner fire - fueled from the time his older brother was out-skiing him - keeps spurring him to do better.
As far as his coaches are concerned, David is one of the most determined athletes in the system. He trains hard, skies hard and competes with a vengeance. LANDON GARDNER

Hometown: Missoula, MT
Birthplace: Missoula, MT
Birthdate: 08/02/1985
Team Years: 6
Height: 5-9
Weight: 155
Club: Missoula Freestyle
School: Westminster College
Equipment: Volkl, Tecnica, Marker, Exel, Giro, Bolle
Sponsors: Cytomax

Moguls skier Landon Gardner got started skiing when, of all things, a new third-grade classmate moved from New Jersey to Montana; they took lessons together and then joined the Missoula Freestyle Team together. Speed through the bumps and an aggressive style have shown coaches he could be headed for some major success in skiing.
It was a solid year for Gardner who, after his first World Cup podium in 2008, marked off two more competition top 10s to add to his resume. His coaches say he has the skill to be at the top of the competitors food chain, especially with his cork 720 truck-driver - a trick built for the Olympics as it is a true crowd pleaser.

Highlights:

* - 2008: U.S. duals silver medalist
* - 2007: U.S. duals bronze medalist
* - 2005: 10th in World Cup debut (Lake Placid)

SHO KASHIMA

Hometown: South Lake Tahoe, CA
Birthplace: El Paso, TX
Birthdate: 11/01/1986
Team Years: 4
Height: 5-7
Weight: 150
Club: Heavenly Freestyle
School: Westminster College
Equipment: Hart, Lange, Look, Giro, Swans
Sponsors: Heavenly, Hilton Hotels

When you're born in West Texas, it usually takes something dramatic to get you skiing, and Sho Kashima grabbed the opportunity when - Kashima was 4 - his dad was transferred to Heavenly resort, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. He responded to what he calls "a drastic change in climate" and started skiing, and started cultivating thoughts of skiing on the World Cup.
Kashima came back strong in 2009 after injuries in 2008. The World Championship team member knows he belongs in the top five on World Cup after working his way back into the top ten on the World Cup standings. Look for him to exhibit more consistency this year and to be throwing an off axis 1080 in competition runs for 2010.
Sho was set to be on the Olympic team for Vancouver, but unfortunately injured his knee just about a month before they started. He just ended rehab recently, and is back to skiing. :)

Highlights:

* - Worlds: 2009, 2007
* - 2007: First World Cup, first top 15, top-10, top-5
* - 2007, 2006 U.S. dual moguls gold medalist
* - 2006 NorAm dual moguls runnerup (1 win)
* - Won '06 NorAm Finals duals, 2nd at Park City duals

He's kind of a stud.
