I think he's trying to see if he can get more viewers on a different night. His Ustreams are usually today at 8:30pm EST but that conflicts with Lost and Glee. It would be great if people could tweet him a day they think would be better even if they don't intend to watch. Broadcasts are usually about 45 minutes long. Whichever day it turns out to be I'll make a viewing post. I hope you all will come and watch at least a bit. He doesn't get many viewers. At the most there are 50-60 at a time. The webcasts are awesome and he's pretty regular about doing one every week. If you want to know a little bit more about moguls and the people you'll be seeing in his webcasts you can look in our comm tags under '
intro post' or '
moguls'.
humanconnection made a post earlier this month.
This article is a month old but it also includes a small mention about some speed skaters towards the end.
Sochi 2014: Looking Ahead Excerpt:
"Moguls skier Sho Kashima, 23, hoped to make his Olympic debut in Vancouver after finishing sixth at the most recent world championships, but now has to wait four years for that moment. He suffered a knee injury just weeks before the Opening Ceremony in Vancouver and was unable to compete."
eta: Good news!
The things I do to keep myself from taking my inevitable nap. I've only slept about 40 minutes since last night. It's pretty hard to find pictures of Sho although there are more than there were a month ago, yay! Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
eta2:He might do an 'emergency' broadcast today if he does I'll try and post about it right away.
