The Frends Crew Tweets Their Faces Off
Today, on Twitter, people sent in questions for the the Frends guys to answer.
Q: On a scale 1-10, how awesome is the movie Face-Off?
A: I would give it a 2. Just above Joe verses the Volcano.
Q: Everybody wants to know. How are Kevin and Danny doing?
A: They are both doing super well. As you have heard Kev is walking around and making huge progress. Danny, is in the gym charging and working out tons, which is classic since he hates that stuff. To quote Kev, I am just stoked he is alive! and going to be kicking it with him soon.
Q: All of you guys are close frends, what went through your minds when you found out about Kevin's accident?
A: What do you think? :) I just remember the day being a daze and just sitting there praying and wishing for good news.
Q: On a happier note, your boy Scotty Lago won bronze in Vancouver. What was he listening to during his run?
A: CCR, Black Sabbath, Guns N Roses, and of course The Boss's Born in the USA. According to the internet, let me ask him.
Q: WHere is your favorite place to ride?
A: Mammoth, Whistler, Park City, and Breck. They all are dope for different reasons, but top picks. Oh and Shawnee represent!
Q: You guys have created some pretty funny videos in your free time. Do you have a personal favorite?
A: I like the Scotty and Danny's dog one. Danny Mike Tyson. Hard to say. Jack kills it.
Q: What one weapon would you choose if the world turned into Zombieland for you to off the zombies?
A: Scotty's fists are kind of dangerous. So maybe those! Zombies are funny creatures, they aren't as tough as you think.
Q: What is the newest song/album stuck in your head right now?
A: The new Miley song for sure!!!
Q: If you guys were stuck on a desert island, who would be Gilligan, who is the Professor, and who is Mary Ann?
A: Gilligan would be luke, Professor would be Kev and well, Mary Ann is still undiscovered.
Q: Do any of the guys have a unique pre-contest superstition they always carry out?
A: I think Danny had a good video about this. For me, it was all about the music and pretending I wasn't nervous.
Q: The headphones are awesome. What products are the Frends crew going to make next?
A: We are trying to focus on headphones first and do that right! That being said, we will always do special relevant product collabs when we can.
Q: Has the party stopped since Scotty Lago won his olympic medal?
A: I sure hope not! He is in AK for the next month, so it's probably a good change of pace for him. He said he's enjoying it.
Q: What's next after the double cork and double mctwist?
A: I hope it chills out for a bit before it goes much further. I think doing video game stuff is cool, but crazy.
Q: What is your favorite trick to: A. perform yourself? B. watch someone else do?
A: For me, I like methods, never could quite get them right which made them fun. To watch, methods or I must admit double corks too.
Q: Will the Frends crew ever put out a DVD of just shredding and having fun?
A: That is for sure!! We need to make sure we can all commit to it, but yes it is in the works. We just need to do it our style.
Q: What do you do to stay on top especially in the off season? Any certain training?
A: Mostly chill with the crew, enjoy the time off, good times and then when the season gets closer get back at it. Rest is key.
Q: If I run into you guys at a bar, what round of drink should I order for the crew?
A: None of us drink. We are focused for the future. But if it was a must, red tripe would getter done!
Q: How awesome is it to be around champions every single day? Is there ever a dull moment?
A: There is for sure never a dull moment when we are all together. The trash talking is classic!! Champions might be too strong an adjective!! We just want to have fun and do what we are stoked on.
