TORONTO - Molly Parker covers her eyes and looks, for a split second, entirely bereft. She's talking about Tracy Wright, her colleague, peer and co-star in Bruce McDonald's new movie Trigger.
Parker isn't in a state of sudden grief over the passing of Wright, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer shortly after wrapping her work on the film. She's in a state of tumult because she's desperate to remain genuine and emotionally present as she talks about Wright's last movie with the media. The only problem is, as one of the Canadian starlets doing press here at the Toronto International Film Festival, she's been doing it all day long.
"Honestly. How do I talk about it?" she asks, her clear blue eyes emerging from behind her pale hands.
