Rainn Wilson & Ellen Page In James Gunn’s ‘Super’
Super stars Rainn Wilson as a man who creates a super hero alter-ego, Crimson Bolt, to rescue his wife (Liv Tyler) from a “seductive drug dealer” played by Kevin Bacon. Wilson re-teams with Ellen Page (Remember, he was the convenience store clerk in Juno), who plays his “sexually charged sidekick, Boltie.” The film also features Linda Cardellini and Nathan Fillon, who played the town sheriff in Slither.
Super will be screening at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The film has not yet secured a US distributor.
