Group Numbers = The Cult Films of American Idol?
(actually, if you need to hate it's okay. this was just the only group number gif i had.)
During the course of watching American Idol Season 8 the group numbers always proved to be something of a secondhand embarrassment situation. All the Idols would dance around, some without any apparent rhythm, to an oddly chosen song whilst lip syncing badly or occasionally forgetting the words and my face seemed to be permanently held in a grimace during the entire number. But now that the season is over I find myself going back to certain numbers constantly. A few of them are still train wrecks, honestly, but others seem to be packed with adorable gems of Kris's little feet continuing their mission to kill us with adorable, Adam completely nailing the moves while eye fucking the camera, and many other little moments that turn that grimace on my face into to a unabashed GRIN OF GLEE.
