I think this is my favorite performance of his. I love that he went back to the song that was basically the turning point of his season, and made it better. The confidence, belief in his ability and maturity that he gained through the season all shows in this reprise and it's beautiful.
Very few people manage to make a reprise better than the first time - if WNTS are to be trusted Kris is the only person ever to do so on Idol.

UNF UNF UNF. I had no idea how he was going to top this one - the original was already awesome, and I didn't think he could recreate his first Idol Moment of the year.
BUT THEN HE DID. Somehow he injected so much more emotion into it, his vocal was better, he was just so confident and so at ease with it. Gah. No words. No words at all. This was the very first time I was grateful for any reprise.

TBRH, I have no idea what's the difference between the two versions except bigger piano and Kris looked like Adam just gave him a blowjob under the piano really sexy.

I think this was his best performance of that night. I was so happy, because I was already planning on voting for him, and I was glad to see him start strong. A smart choice of song to reprise.
