With this wording, it could be interpreted either way, tbh. I think the Adam interpretation is more plausible simply because of the way it's being quoted, though. If Kris is saying it he wouldn't refer to himself as "him," he'd say "me." If the writer were changing it to make the sentence grammatically correct, ze would have to put the "him" in [square brackets]. (OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE TO CHEW THE WRITER OUT FOR BEING STYLISTICALLY WRONG ON THE INTERNET.)

Adam. It clearly refers to Adam because of the lead-in "As for his wife having a problem with Adam..."

I had to read it 3 times. First time, I didn't understand it. Second time, I thought she had a crush on Adam. 3rd time I thought she said that she had a crush on Kris too (as a joke). I think it may be her saying jokingly that she has a crush on kris too.

i don't really know why she would say she had a crush on kris, i mean, she's his wife, the fact that she likes/loves/thinks he's hot is kind of self-evident
