Yeah. I find it entirely believable he gets platonic crushes on girls because dude, I crush on everyone. But some people are totally misinterpreting it and if he keeps talking about it he's going to end up with a) fangirls being even MORE bold than they would be before and b) people accusing him of leading people on/lying/whatever.

However, I don't doubt the media is encouraging it too, with leading questions, etc, and I think they are a lot more responsible for this being played up than he himself. :)

Yeah, that's honestly my main concern about this tactic: he's going to rue the day he discovers how aggressive and motivated his fangirls can be. Seriously. He has no idea.
