I agree with Jim, especially about the idol coronation song. I can see where they thought it might be a good idea because Glee is big now and all their cover songs sell but I don't really see it helping for these 2.

I'm just mad they didn't sing a cheesy song so don't mind me. LOL

These songs will really only sell on iTunes, and then I guess whatever album the winner makes after that will be the actual representation of what kind of artist he or she is.

Cook's magic rainbow song did really well on radio so they could have made it work. I think they were just too scared after No Boundaries. lol

Also, I read that the contestants actually chose their own song so I'm assuming that's what they think represents the type of artist they are?
