Okay, I just came home from meeting fucking Adam Lambert and I'm stoked. Lol. I want to write down this review asap so I can't forget anything. I hope it's not going to be too long.
Well as I told here before, I won one of the ten tickets you could win to meet Adam Lambert and to be at his 'minigig' here in Holland. This was the very first time he was live on Dutch radio so I just thought it was awesome. I had to be there at eight 'o clock. When we arrived there were like 40 people standing outside waiting for him to arrive. The ten people that won the tickets just had to wait outside too till someone came outside to tell us that we had to get in. This took a while. Adam arrived but had to go in really fast (and when he got out he went into the car really fast to, he had to, so I felt a bit sorry for everybody waiting outside lol). Quite soon after he got in they told us to come in too and we had to wait downstairs till they would call that we could go upstairs to see Adam perform etc.
We got into this room, and the band was already rehearsing. We sat down and drank some soda etc, while we were watching the band pracitcing. Adam was in the other room, being interviewed by the radio host, but we really didn't hear much of that. We could see his face on a tv in the room but that was it. After a while he got in, greeted ("CHEEEERS") us and sat down, the commercials were about to begin in ten minutes so he had to hurry up lol. He started off with Whataya Want From Me, which he did beautifully, and then he sang Music Again.
After that (you couldn't hear that on the radio anymore) someone of our group asked if he could please sing Down The Rabbit Hole. I was so happy she asked that lol. He was like "guys, she wants down the rabbit hole" and the band was like "ehm.. okay D:", because they had to tone down everything for that or something. They started with other chords but then got confused and ended up tuning their guitars etc anyways, they stopped like in the middle of the song. Adam said something like "we'll do this in sections!" lol, and Monte said something like "but this is exclusive.. nobody has seen this before!" haha. It went well after that tho, he just continued and it was awesome. Then they did Mad World which was simply beautiful. <3 I really sat there like OMG, I'm hearing Adam Lambert live.. haha. When Adam asked (after Music Again I believe) if we were having fun, one girl said something like "yes! it's much better then the album!" and Adam was like "Oh really? That's because we can smell eachother." Lol. I love him.
Then the radio host came in to gave us all rubber duckies (long thing to explain, it's like the main thing he gives away in that show lol.. Adam also got one) and told us we had to be nice to Adam (eh duh) and we could take pictures and let him sign stuff etc. He signed my CD and a picture for a friend (lol I had to spell my name and because I was a bit starstrucked I couldn't speak proper English anymore, but he did spell it right hahaha. I had to let him sign something for someone else too and her name was Marja but I had no idea anymore how you said what an J was - how stupid, I knew it immediately after that - so he wrote down her name and he said oh is it Maria? and I was like ehm yeah something like that, whatever. LOL. I just wanted to be rid off the spelling, hahaha.. (however, Adam, you can't spell on your twitter either, so I shouldn't be ashamed). XD Then we took a picture and I said thank you, and asked him if I could hug him haha and he said "ofcouuuurse".
I asked him if he already had been shopping in Amsterdam, but he said he didn't have enough time for that because he had to work so much. Then I said congrats with Allison (lol I'm so stupid) just because I thought of that haha but I don't think he got me in the first place, because he said something like "yeah she is awesome!" and I said "yes, she's turning 18 today isn't she?" and he said "oh it's her birthday today?" then he looked at that blonde woman who's his stylist I believe and she nodded and he was like "OOOH I SHOULD TWEET HER". He asked me if I got her album and I told him that I had it. When I came home and I saw he tweeted Allison just right after he got in the bus, it really cracked me up lol.
You can't see Tommy's signature but however, it's there. XD
When we were downside we had to tell the rest of the group outside how it was lol. Very soon after us the band and Adam came downstairs too and I wanted a picture with Tommy, which I didn't got the chance to take upstairs, but I first let him sign my CD (he looked very surprised that I knew his name lol.. and God he's small!) and then a woman came to tell him that he got to get in to the bus. He looked at me like he just got hit or something, with puppy eyes like he wanted to say "sorrryyy" and then he got in, haha aw.
But well, Adam was so nice, and it was the most epic experience ever, and he was so sweet, and looked fabulous, and I just don't want this day to be over. And gtfo with school tomorrow. Didn't went today, and I'll just stay at home tomorrow too. XD The other 9 fans really made my day too, they were so down to earth and not like screamy fangirls, they were so nice and thank you all for this wonderful day.
