It is my day off and I am an obsessive googler who probably needs her lithium adjusted so here are some fax for you:
TMZ has learned "American Idol" contestant Crystal Bowersox threw in the towel a little more than two weeks ago and was walking off the show, when Ryan Seacrest did some fast-talking and changed her mind.
It went down in a parking lot after an "A.I." show. In front of several people, Crystal told Ryan she couldn't handle the competition.... she said she hated the attention and said to Seacrest, "What's the point?"
Crystal said she was going back to Ohio to be with her family, whom she missed terribly.
Ryan told Crystal that being on "Idol" was like starting a business, and if she won she'd get a recording contract and become a millionaire.
Seacrest sealed the deal by telling her, "The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house."
It's from TMZ so I don't know how true it is, but it sounds kind of WTF? I think the deal should be that if Crystal wins, Ryan just buys Crystal's mom a house. Apparently the market is so shitty that they're real cheap now or something. IDK.

Q: Your rendition of Paula Abdul's Straight Up pulled in 3 million views on YouTube. Did you ever imagine that it would take off like that?
A: When I thought about what I was going to do, I figured that, well, Paula is not on the show anymore and so I could do my twist on it and see what happens. And it took off like crazy.
Q: You had a bromance blossom with Lee DeWyze. What sort of common interests do you guys have? And do you have a song?
A: We don't really have a song, but we do jam a lot. We hope to tour together. Our common thing is that we just found ourselves doing the same thing at the same time.
Q: There has been a lot of buzz about Ryan acting a little eccentric Tuesday night. Katie said he was overcaffeinated. What did you think of him waltzing on stage?
A: I thought, whoa, Ryan's lost his mind But I love that guy. And he works a lot, so he has a right get a little coffee into him.
Q: What do you have planned in the future?
A: Making an album, getting ready for tour and doing the best I can and having fun.
Q: How has the show has changed your life or your approach to life?
A: I always felt the need to do music. Idol has shown me so much more about music and how the industry is. And I have met so many people and have had so many new experiences.
Q: Are you writing songs yet?
A: I'm already starting.
Q: Are you planning to propose to your girlfriend?
A: I haven't proposed yet, but I am for sure going to marry her.
Q: Getting songs and putting your own twist on them, is that what you plan to do in the future?
A: Going forward, I have my own music that I want to do. I want to do my own originals. But I'm also a pop and R&B guy, and I love to make songs acoustic, like Forever by Chris Brown.
Q: Who are your influences?
A: I love everything from rock to R&B to hip-hop to everything.
Q: What was your life like before Idol?
A: My life was just taking care of my son - I was a stay-at-home dad. On the weekends, I'd play shows and that was my income. I'd make like $400 a gig. I went out and played acoustic. It was cool. And then Idol is way bigger, so I knew I had to try it out and look where it got me.
Q: What was the best piece of advice from Adam Lambert?
A: To let go and have fun and put my twist on it. And I know where he is coming from because he puts his own twist on everything.
Q: Did your performances go like you planned, post-Hollywood?
A: Songs like Chasing Pavement and then Chris Brown went well because it was me and acoustic. And I love it when I can do my thing with acoustic.
Q: How did you feel about Simon (Cowell) saying you're boring and then Adam Lambert saying you were boring? But then the contestants don't agree. Why do you think that personality came across on stage?
A: On stage, I was more focused on performing. (The judges) didn't get it because they don't hang out with me. If they hung out with me, they'd love me.
Q: You seemed to have a moment with Lee before you left?
A: Yeah, that's my buddy. He's my brother for life.
Q: Do you think it was bittersweet last night?
A: It was amazing that I have gotten as far as I did. I'm so blessed and thankful.
Q: You and your folks seem to be really tight. They seem like great people. Did they get emotional when you were voted off last night?
A: They saw that I wasn't sad or bitter and that I was happy and thankful for all the opportunities I had. And they felt that and so they were happy with me.
Q: With your performance of Chris Brown's Forever, did you expect that to be the turning point for you? Because you were bashed over and over again before that.
A: I knew it would be a good night. I'm a guy that does current music and puts an acoustic twist on it. When I saw that song, I knew I had to do something with it. I felt 100%.
Q: How did feel last night knowing that a "save" was not possible?
A: At that point, I was happy how far I'd gotten. And it couldn't have been a better save. Big Mike's (Michael Lynche) a warrior, and I love that guy.
Q: Going into the top 24 and with your YouTube following, it seemed like you had a lot of hype. Do you feel like you let your early fan base down?
A: I don't feel like I've let my fans down at all. They get me and that's all that matters.
Q: How will Lee fare without you? Will you go to the shows?
A: We're like each other's family. We come to each other in rough times and he can always call me. I will go to the shows to cheer him on.
Q: Do you think it was easier or harder to be judged by this season's panel?
A: It was harder, they were being really hard this year. I don't know why. But they were hard with judging.
Q: Do you wish Paula was still around?
A: Yeah, I wonder what she's thinking of my song.
Q: There was a big deal made of song selections this year. What was your process in selecting songs? Did you go for songs you knew or new ones that you weren't as familiar with?
A: In the beginning, I did songs that I knew. And I had fun with it. And then the process got more difficult, so I went for songs that I could switch up. It was hard, but I had fun doing it. If you don't have fun, you'll regret it and that's not cool.
Q: Do you wish the judges told you what to sing so you knew what to expect?
A: I still think they would have been hard on us, because they would have expected more because they'd picked the songs. So it would have just been more of the same.
Q: Closing remarks?
A: This has been the most amazing, amazing, amazing experience. I'm thankful for every fan, for every person who voted for me or even just talked to me.
