Mar 14, 2010 17:08

As today is still a slow day and I'm pretty bored, I thought I'd let you know about some little things that are going on here in Germany.

Apparently the German radio stations are beginning to introduce Adam to their listeners!

Update: Adam made a new entry into their charts on #5 !!!!

FUCK YEAH! I'm crying like a proud mama!  \o/

In advance, I just want to add that these are 2 of the biggest stations over here in Germany! \o/

Adam Lambert: "Whataya want from me"

"For your entertainment" is the title of the debut album of American singer, actor and songwriter Adam Lambert, which made it to #3 in the US charts straightaway.
Many of today's hottest artists in the music business collaborated as componists and producers on the album: Lady Gaga, Matthew Bellamy (Muse), Justin Hawkins (Ex-The Darkness), Rivers Cuomo (Weezer), Linda Perry (Ex-Four Non Blondes), Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Pink, who wrote the single "Whataya want from me" together with Max Martin. The single is being released in Germany in mid April.
Adam Lambert, who was born in 1982 in Indianapolis/USA, gained fame through his participation in the US casting show "American Idol" in which he was runner-up of the year 2009. Before that he performed in a jewish musical.

(I don't know what's thing about this "jewish musical" ... I guess they wanted to mention "The Ten Commandments" ... but it seems so random in this whole article, IDK.
BUT ... I absolutely love them for calling him "singer, actor and songwriter" !!! \o/ )

Another station added him into their "pop lexicon":

Translation:

Adam Lambert is the new star of the american casting-show "American Idol". He is originally from Minneapolis. His first single was written by P!nk and Max Martin. The debug album (#3 of the US charts) got support from famous people like Linda Perry, Matthew Bellamy from Muse, as well as Lady Gaga. The success seems inevitable!

This radio station added Adam's single to their "potential new charts entries". So we tried to get him into their listeners charts this week!
Results will be known tonight when they play this weeks new charts on the radio.

Sooooooooo ... fingers crossed!!!
