HEY EVERYBODY IT'S A MOD POST
FUCK YEAH.
Okay so as you might have heard today is Valentine's day (sorry to remind you).
WE HAVE SOME FUN STUFF IN STORE:
First off we're gonna have a big mushy love post. Get all up in there and let everybody know how much you love them~. It'll go up pretty early but don't hesitate to like go back in there throughout the day and show some love to the latecomers--there is no embarrassment in late love!
Later we're going to have a music gifting post! WHAT IS THAT YOU ASK? People who can/want to can offer to gift music through iTunes or wherever to those who want it! The only thing is you gotta do it legally~. You could gift songs in the spirit of Valentine's and offer up mushy love songs or some spiteful breakup emo Ohio Is For Lovers crap or whatever, but it's a total free for all--but bonus points for gifting music from struggling artists (especially of the Idol variety~).
SO YAY HAPPY V-DAY EVERYBODY~~ I HOPE YOU AT THE VERY LEAST HAVE SOME DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE.

We know there's a lot of tension between shippers right now and we want to remind you guys that YOUR MODS ARE TEAM NEUTRAL FIRST AND FOREMOST. Please don't hesitate to come to us with problems because you don't think we'll care because it has to do with Ship A or Ship B--we honestly don't give a fuck about what you ship. We want to do what's best for the comm and none of us think that means alienating particular shippers. Our OTP is ONTD_ai/FUN and we want to make that ship come true.
We want to hear your concerns if you have any--we actualfax discuss everything. When we tell you we're bringing something up for discussion we mean it one hundred billion percent.
LOOK AT ALL THEM ENTRIES. IT'S NOT ALL JUST HELLO KITTY SPAM.
I'm not going to laugh at you and draw mustaches on your icons if you ask a stupid question. We actually like being mods and questions/concerns or anything you bring to us are never a bother--it's good for us to know what people think and what people want even if we decide not to take action against something because that helps us to figure out what is and is not acceptable in the future.
That being said, we are not your parents. We're not going to punish people for being stupid twats or rude bitches, oversensitive pussy wipes or Gokey-sympathizers. Being an asshole might make you extremely unpopular but it is not against the rules. What WILL get you in trouble are serious personal attacks, harassment, and all that stuff in our big list of rules in our userinfo which is now conveniently at the top of the picspam.
A lot of the stuff that offends and upsets people is ~gray area~ and we realize not everybody agrees with every decision we make but we try our best to enforce our rules without being overbearing slutcunts who censor you, because nobody wants that.

Seriously though, having your shipping goodtimes get shat on by people who are too srs bsns is not cool. Please try to be understanding and realize it's possible to have fun with a ship without belittling others.
To help you recognize the warning signs so you can get help, here are some signs You Might Be A Redneck Overly Invested Shipper:
• You hear on the news there's been a shipwreck and yell, "DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO KRADAM!?"
• You go to your aunt's wedding and complain to your cousins that the groom needs to DIAF because you ship your aunt with your neighbor Ben.
• When writing analysis of Romeo and Juliet accidentally replace names with "Adam and Tommy" more than once.
• You didn't vote for Hilary because Bill/Monica is canon.
• You have become religious for the sole purpose of having more legit Kradam prayer circles.
• The Salvation Army declines your mattress.
• Make fake dating site profiles for Cale to see if you'll be matched with Kris-like individuals.
• Your boyfriend gives you chocolate for Valentine's day and your response is "LOL SCOTTCOLATE."
• Your dad walks you to school because you are both in the same grade.
• Your homepage is Katy's blog.
• You are in the process of genetically crossing a lamb with a rat to create ultimate Lambliff/Ratbert pet.
• You come home from the garbage dump with more than you went with.
• Can't stop calling cousin Manuel "Manoop."
• Took Drake and Adam's split harder than the divorce of your parents.
• You ship people with Megan icons with people with Matt icons.
• 85% of your hard-drive is filled with Clyan fics amassed since 2003.
• You've defriended people for being "Kranberries."
• You spend more time trying to prove Kris is gay than you do sleeping.
• You firmly believe Katy was the reason The Beatles broke up.
• You have a diagram that can prove Matt removing his mole means he fucked Anoop.

• You don't know what your season 9 ship is yet, but you already hate Ashley for ruining it.
