The Fic For Hope Challenge
David Cook will be running again this May 2nd in the Race For Hope to benefit brain cancer research. He ran last year for the first time the day after his older brother Adam lost his battle with a brain tumor overnight. This cause is important to him (and many of you personally) and we want to help.
The ficforhope challenge is a way for writers, readers and all members of fandom alike to come together and raise money for Cook's Race For Hope team and hopefully inspire some great fic. The challenge has a unique twist that we hope will be fun and motivating for all involved. Also, we know many of you have been giving in amazing ways to charities lately and may be a little low on funds, but no money will be actually donated for this challenge until the last week in April.
If you're interested in seeing what ficforhope is all about, check out the Challenge Intro and Rules and then take our interest poll. Writer Signups are open now and Sponsor Signups begin on the day the challenge officially starts, February 6th.
