'American Idol' Kris Allen performs in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- "American Idol" winner Kris Allen is performing in Charlotte Thursday night.
Allen is playing at the Kissmas Party 09 concert at Amos' Southend Music Hall.
Allen's new single is called "Live Like We're Dying." Allen told NewsChannel 36 that he hopes fans will sing along with him during the show.
"For me, this past month has been awesome. I've been able to play music from the album and people have really been enjoying the show and that's all I can ask for," Allen said.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
