I like. adfj;kljfsd. YOU GUYS. NO SERIOUSLY, I KNOW THIS IS THE HBIC DAY, BUT YOU GUYS.
I TRANSCRIBED IT BECAUSE I NEEDED SOME WAY TO QUANTIFY THE UNQUANTIFIABLE, TO TRY TO GRASP THE VASTNESS OF DAVID ARCHULETA IN SEMI-COHERENT LANGUAGE.
Touring: what's a day like?
Archie:
A day on tour is pretty much wake up (GESTURE) ... on the bus... kinda - let your - allow yourself to - kinda wake up and stuff. And then, get off! If it's early enough you eat breakfast (PANTOMIMES BREAKFAST-EATING), if not - um, go inside and eat lunch - and - (laugh) - and - see what's there for catering. Sometimes i don't eat lunch at catering... sometimes I do... and then... I go inside, bring all my stuff into my dressing room... um, grab some fruit (PANTOMIMES), er, and, um, trail mix that's in the dressing room... I get ready, i don't know...then... then what?... then I just kind of - oh! and then I have sound check -

(ARCHIE SOUNDING LIKE A FUCKING ROCK STAR AT SOUND CHECK)
- then I have VIP meet & greet
(meeting)
(CUT TO SOME GIRL FLIPPING OUT BC MEETING ARCHIE IS THE BEST MOMENT OF HER LIFE)
- then I, like, take pictures with the meet & greeters, and then... after that I get ready...
(dressing)
- it's more like, hmm, what should i wear tonight? 2 hours before i go onstage, so it's not like... planned or anything. I was like, well i'm not gonna bring 40 shirts, cause that's insane, you know? why would i need 40 different shirts? it's not like i'm gonna change each day and - - every day a different shirt - so, you know. Just repeat. And then (GESTURE) I go on to the stage and perform.

(CUT TO ARCHIE CRACKING UP IN REHEARSAL)
- um - whereas (ARMFLAIL) in an arena (ARMFLAIL) it's like - (MAJOR ARMFLAIL) 'AHHHHHH!' it's like - (EXPANSIVE ARMFLAIL) - it's like you're all one (ARMFLAIL with ROBOT ARMS) big happy, um, crowd - in an arena - it's not like all of them are screaming all at once the entire time - it's just like (PLODDING ARMFLAILS!) - there's constant screams throughout the night -
and finally: journaling:

You know, I fell asleep last night but other than that, I pretty much do.
- I actually never had pens before? In school, it's like (laugh) - I need to erase (laugh)! I like black (THOUGHTFUL HAND SWIPE), cause, I - I can just see it better, but all my black pens are running out of ink so right now I'm using a blue one. I'm always erasing, like, in my journal I'm constantly like scribbling things out and stuff - but a pen I just feel like it lasts longer. There's not enough room to draw. I write too much. (SHEEPISH SMILE.)

OR SMALL WONDER, WHERE COOK DISCOVERS HIM HIDING IN HIS GARAGE OR SOMETHING AND THEN ARCHIE IMPRINTS ON HIM AND FOLLOWS HIM AROUND GOING "SO NOW WE EAT BREAKFAST, YES?"
