This is disfigured and disjointed. Just like your love.

So Mike has found an apartment. Some guy I worked with (Kyle) is moving out of his place, and I am gonna move in there. As well, I am getting a queen-size bed, a couch, two La-Z-Boys and a coffee table for $225. In addition, I get to live there free for two weeks. After going so long without a place, this is awesome news. In addition to this, I will be having a roommate. My friend Teija is moving in with me (or so she says). We talked about it around Tuesday of last week, and on Friday she told me she's serious about moving in with me. Yay?

Yeah, I'm gonna belive it when it happens.

Thursday after work, I went to karaoke night at Foggie's. It was fun. I didn't pay for any alcohol. This was because after we got out at 11:40 pm, it was only 20 minutes until my birthday. So by the time we got there, Mike was 22. Ryan bought us a pitcher and a bottle each. We drank that as fast as possible because I was invited to the Eaastgate by Lindsay. She never showed up. HA! But my nigga was there, so Mark bought me three beer and ordered I slam them back. So I did, and by this time that Jae-Kwon song applied to me.

I somehow woke up on time on Friday, and went to work sober. After work, my friends threw me a birthday party. We went and played pool and people kept showing up. Does anybody remember this girl? (you have to be a friend to read the link. sry) Well she shows up at the party and runs up to me and gives me a huge hug and wishes me happy birthday. So I guess all the bullshit that is in our past is behind us, because she was nice to me the whole night. She even stuck up for me when my friends were trying to sack me.

I don't really remember too much of the night except my hat got stolen/lost. And for some reason I was holding Jessika's hand for 30 minutes.

The new Thrice album has far and above blown away what I was expecting. The piano in almost every song adds so much more to the songs. And as well I like how they concentrated on making the whole song sound great, instead of just certain riffs and chord progressions in the song. It's already my favourite album of 2005, and it's not even out yet.

And with a somewhat similar style, Wake the Dead by Comeback Kid reminds me a lot of the album Chuck by sum41. I normally listen to the album on a small set of speakers, but on Wednesday Paul and I were listening to it while driving around. Were we the only ones to notice this, or are we just loco?

For softer music, I've really been getting into Avalanches and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! a lot lately. Avalanches are a weird Aussie dance group that samples other songs, sounds, etc. into one song. It sounds amazingly awesome.

Speaking of awesome, check out the alt-country band Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash. Think Ryan Adams, without the rock star attitude.

Oh yeah, I never mentioned that I'm getting a van. I'm so pimping this ride and then gonna blast odd shit like The Polyphonic Spree. This will be off tha hook!!
