(no subject)
I haven't communicated in a whiel, been very stressed out with uni at the moment. I nearly have everything together for my trip to the US (minus the essentials like a valid passport, a visa, and plane flights) but hopefully im on schedule. Today the lady at the post office totally got up me for not having written certain parts of my application in fuckin black pen...I'm sorry! What is this obsession with the racial heirachy within the pen world. Why does everyone of authority deem blue to be insufficient or inferior to the black? Shits me. Anyway I have a whole lot to do before I leave, but I get a bit of a holiday between semesters, which is good. Maybe a month or so. Ofcouse I have a very unlucky exam timetable, with my second one on the second last day of exam block. After that it's pretty much straight into some BSB shows for the record, then Nadia goes to Venezuela, then the tragic tour, christmas, visa, melbourne again and then on to NJ for a while (atleast that's the plan).
Lately I've been listening to the new Animal Collective record 'Strawberry Jam' (of course, best record of 07 by far) and have been doing so since it leaked in July. Also the new Black Dice and Le Savy Fav which will come in this week and the new Batrider album which is actually really good. Im most hopefull more than any other band to see AC in New York, and to see maybe Black Dice, Dan Deacon or even Okkervil River would be mad (also the new O.R album The Stage Names is debatable, please debate).
