WHO: Red X (
crimson_rogue_x) and Kairi Russo (
memoria_persa)
WHAT: A date, and maybe something... more.
WHERE: Kairi's place, then wherever the night takes them.
WHEN: Tuesday evening, 7:30 sharp.
(
Somehow he was using his motorcycle less and less and his red Ferrari more and more. )
Though having Neffe there was a way of keeping the redhead down and breaking her nervous habit. Usually energetic all day, by this time of night, the poor kitten was always tired, and he had a habit of sleeping on the couch next to her or at her feet. But tonight was different. He was there in Kairi's lap, purring away in his dreams as if to calm her nerves and comfort her; she wouldn't have had it any other way tonight.
Except she'd feel horrible when she had to get up and make Neffe give up his warm lap. Maybe Saix would want to take her place. Maybe.
Gently stroking the kitten's soft, bronze fur and listening to her numerous silver bangles jangle slight as she did so, she leaned her head back against the couch and sighed. This was a big night for her. It wasn't like her first meeting with Aloy, or even like when she had gone and bought Grimmjow a few drinks or treated Ulquiorra to a friendly dinner. No, the outcome to this could've ended up completely different than those, and it unnerved her, not knowing what would happen. But a faint smile graced the redhead's lips as she remembered that they would always be friends, no matter what happened. Kairi knew she could count on him to make sure it at least ended like that, as long as she kept up her end of the promise.
Kairi sat back up and gently picked Neffe up from her lap and held him with one hand as she reached back to make sure her loosely curled hair was still just that: curled. Laughing softly at the little annoyed mew Neffe gave her, she gently poked his nose with one silver nail polish covered nail before standing and glancing out of the window across the living room. Seeing a red Ferrari that she was sure wasn't there when she sat down fifteen minutes earlier, the redhead guessed that was her date. She gently tugged on bottom of her dress to move it back to the normal length--two inches above her knees--and adjusted the single strap that was holding the dress up on her right shoulder, then made her way towards the door, standing by and waiting for him to knock. She didn't want to seem too eager after all.
All Kairi could do was scratch behind Neffe's ears and wait.
[ooc; If you're curious enough, the dress looks like this, but with the mentioned alterations: the added length, different color, and the added strap. And no sequins, because they're just gross.]
