WHO: Vash (
amore_e_pace) and Temari (
fortebrezza)
WHAT: A make-up dinner date for the one they missed before the fashion show
WHERE: A restaurant, of course!
WHEN: Thursday, June 26th, evening
The truth was, Temari had little interest in this sort of dinner date. Her request for advice a few days prior had been rather deceiving, although for once it was only for her own purposes, rather than work. For one particular man, it had been intended to simply help her finish her job. For the other, the one she was meeting with tonight, she merely wanted to find something to soften the blow if she actually had to turn him down. She did hope that she was misinterpreting somehow, because this Vash fellow seemed rather interested in her, and if that was the case, well, she simply pitied him. True relationships weren’t in the equation for her at the moment, especially not outside of the family. She might have liked to truly explore the dating front again, but it simply wasn’t safe in this city, if it involved people she didn’t really know. Whatever happened, she'd need to be sure of his intentions before the night was over. He just wasn't the type of guy that she could bear to string along for her own entertainment-- he just seemed too sweet, and the eventually the guilt would get to her whether she liked it or not.
So she was waiting now outside of that little Chinese place they had agreed to meet at once. It was nice, though, not trashy, not fast food, one of those semi-gourmet type places, and the exterior showed it in that it looked just like any other restaurant, rather than the tacky, China-themed fronts of the places that loaded their food with far too much MSG. Since it was a nice night and she’d already put her name in for a table, she was waiting outside, glancing either way down the street. She was clad in a simple, strappy, lavender summer dress, with a wide bit of darker purple fabric around the middle that was tied into a bow at the back, and a ruffled hem. A plain, matching satchel-style bag held the rest of her things, with no more weaponry than a simple pocket knife on her for the evening. No need to bring out much more that that. More importantly was her phone that she was continually checking to make sure that she hadn’t received any sort of text or call canceling out on her. That would have just ruined her night a little more.
