Kai sat crouched on the front stairs of the apartment building where La Squadra lived, passing the time talking to Sky High. She had been there for over an hour at least, overeager to see Blues again, though the waiting did not bother her. The large metallic beetle seemed chirp and flutter in response, though only Kai could hear or understand it. She smiled, nodding knowingly at her Stand and then begun to hum a small tune.
Soon, she thought, soon Blues would be here. And waiting with her -- a small home, a new place, for her newfound friend to call home.
