Jinx smirked as he told her he was not here to get involved. Of course he was here for that reason, everybody was in one way or another. If he was looking for adventure, then he found it. If he was looking for a new life, maybe reincarnation would be kind to him. She hoped so. When he began to doze, she waited until his eyes had been closed for a while. Then she looked up at him, at a very innocent face.

"Damn stupid kid," she whispered to him, giving a light sigh. And then she made herself quite comfortable in the nest of their bodies and his bed and drifted away into slumber. Though when she slept, she was anything but peaceful. As soon as she was far enough under, the nightmares began, making her body tremble and shake, light groans escaping her lips. EVen her eyes beneath her lids never stopped moving. This was not a hindrance to her, for she was that way every night for as long as she could remember. This was just normal.

Maybe she kicked Tommy a few times, maybe she whimpered and tried to get closer to him. At any rate, he was either a heavy sleeper and ignored it, or he was not and glared at her all night long.
