WHAT: A conversation.

WHEN: Day 11. After Gin gets home from picking up and dropping off Rhode.

It was hard to get used to, going into the kitchen or the living room or the dining room and expecting Ichimaru to be there, only to find he was not. It happened-not terribly often but it did happen-but Hei never ceased to be put out by it. He wasn't prone to worrying overly-not that he would admit to worrying at all-and it only took one phone call to Rabi to figure out where the man had gone, but Hei wasn't exactly patient as he waited for Ichimaru to return.
With a malice born of irritation that he would never have let his commander see, he snatched up a book from the coffee table and dropped to the couch, opening to a page at random.
